IRTI keeps compliance matters at the forefront of all reimbursement processes. Among its other strengths, IRTI utilizes a comprehensive IDX Group Practice Management System software platform with full patient scheduling and pre-visit capabilities, web-based demographics and insurance eligibility and deductible/co-pay verification functions. This system provides a robust platform for electronic claims submission, customer service support, and insurance follow-up functions. IDX's management information reporting is among the best in the industry.

In addition, IRTI has developed its own proprietary optical scanning application to facilitate remote site superbill acquisition and electronic transmission of this information to its central billing location. Through this and other innovations IRTI has consistently been able to deliver high quality billing services with average days in accounts receivable more than 10 days less than the "Best" benchmark established by the Medical Group Management Association.

MedicalEdge also works with independent billing and collection service vendors. Our role in this capacity is to monitor and assure optimum vendor performance with early warning systems in place to alert our clients to potential billing and collection vendor problems.
