Tim Thomasson
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Thomasson serves as Chief Information Officer of MedicalEdge. After serving as the CIO of Metroplex Emergency Physician Associates, PA (MEPA), Tim became Vice President of Information Services for MAGELLA Healthcare, Inc., a national Neonatology and Perinatology group practice. Mr. Thomasson then served as head of Information Technology for Obstetrix, the Perinatal division of Pediatrix Medical Group. Previous to his first position with MedicalEdge, Mr. Thomasson had served in various engineering, sales and management positions. Mr. Thomasson received a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington.
