Michael A. Austin
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Austin serves as Chief Financial Officer of MedicalEdge. He is both a CPA and a Diplomate of the American College for Healthcare Executives and Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He spent the years from 1989 to 1999 with St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas, first in the position of Chief Financial Officer, and finally as the Administrator of the hospital. Prior to his service with St. Paul, he was in the audit and consulting practice division of Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas for eight years. Mike has been highly involved in the Dallas-Fort Worth managed care market and was Chairman of St. Paul's physician managed care plan contracting organization for several years. He graduated with a BBA degree in 1977 and a MS degree in 1982 in Healthcare Financial Management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
