Clay M. Heighten M.D.
President
Dr. Heighten serves as President of MedicalEdge. He has been a director and senior management executive of MedicalEdge or a predecessor entity since 1989. He is a member of the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Clay was a founding shareholder of MedicalEdge and has been a director of MedicalEdge since its inception. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas in 1982 and was Board Certified in Internal Medicine after his completion of a residency at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1985. Clay has served on the boards of multiple hospitals and physician organizations and is currently a director of Applied Medical Solutions, a medical malpractice insurer.
